Faculty of Agriculture

Tarımsal Biyoloteknoloji Bölümü, konularında uzman biyoteknolojik araştırmalara öncelik veren öğretim üyelerinden oluşmaktadır. Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji Bölümünde öğrenciler, günümüzde çokça bahsi geçen Genetik Mühendisliği, DNA testleri, Hastalık ve Ebeveyn test kitleri, Tohum Islahı, Enzim Üretimi, Mikrobiyolojik Ajanlar, Genetiği Değiştirilmiş Organizmalar (GDO) gibi diğer birçok konuda eğitim alacaklardır. Eğitim hayatı boyunca edindikleri bilgi ve teknikler sayesinde genom bilgisinden elde edecekleri ham verileri Biyoinformatik yöntemlerle bilgisayar programları yoluyla detay analizleri gerçekleştirebilecek güçlü bir alt yapıya sahip, “Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji alanında uzman Mühendisler” olarak yetiştirileceklerdir.
Günümüzdeki rekabet koşullarında Biyoteknolojik yöntemlerin kullanımının kaçınılmaz olması bu yönde kaliteli insan gücü yetiştirmeyi zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji bölümünden mezun olan öğrenciler son yıllarda giderek artan talep doğrultusunda biyoteknolojik yöntemleri kullanmaya ihtiyaç duyan bitkisel, hayvansal, enzim ve mikrobiyal üretim sektörünün her bir basamağında görev alabilmektedirler.

Ziraat Fakültesi Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji Bölümünde 5 adet donanımlı laboratuvar, 1 iklimlendirme odası, yeterli sayıda derslik ve toplantı odası bulunmaktadır.

Ziraat Fakültesi Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji Bölümü Lisans ve Lisansüstü öğrencilerimizin kullandığı teknik altyapı bilgileri şu şekildedir. Laboratuvarlarımızda steril çalışma kabini, etüv, orbital çalkalayıcı, hassas terazi, mikroskop, vorteks cihazı, distile su cihazı, soğutmalı mikrosantrifüj, su banyosu, sıcaklık, iletkenlik ve pH ölçüm cihazı, inkübatör, otoklav, ısıtıcılı manyetik karıştırıcı, derin dondurucu (-80 °C), ışık mikroskobu, optik mikroskop, güvenlik kabini, pipet seti, termal döngü cihazı, yatay elektroforez sistemi, elektroforez güç kaynağı, jel görüntüleme sistemi, buzdolabı, kantar, buz makinesi, mikrodalga fırın, clawenger, soğuk ışık kaynağı, ultrasonik homojenizatör, derin dondurucu (-20 °C), mini buzdolabı ve gerekli cam malzeme, otomatik pipet setleri ve kimyasallar mevcuttur.

Agricultural Engineer

The Department of Agricultural Biotechnology offers a 4-year undergraduate education.

Aydın Adnan Menderes University Education-Training Regulation is applied in inter-program exchanges and transitions. Farabi, Mevlana and Erasmus exchange programs are available in our department.

Agricultural Engineer

Students must have one of the following conditions for admission to the University: a) To be placed in the University by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). b) To have obtained sufficient points for pre-registration admission and to be successful in the aptitude exam and to have earned the right to final registration. c) To meet the necessary conditions for horizontal and vertical transfers. ç) To meet the necessary conditions for foreign student admission. Final registration procedures are carried out according to the documents and principles determined by ÖSYM. The original or a copy certified by the University is accepted. Regarding the military service status, action is taken according to the candidate's declaration. Final registration must be made between the dates determined by the University. The registration calendar, the documents required for registration and the principles to be followed are announced by the Student Affairs Department and carried out by the units. Student candidates who do not register with the relevant unit within the registration period or do not provide the required documents on time are deemed to have given up their right to register and cannot claim any rights. Proxies given by the student candidates through a notary public can also complete the registration process. After completing the registration process, the candidate student becomes a student of the University and benefits from all student rights stipulated by the legislation. If it is determined that the documents submitted for registration are incomplete or falsified, the registration process will be canceled even if the final registration has been made. In addition to the student registration, students who have made their final registration to the University also register for the courses for the relevant semester on the dates specified in the academic calendar.

180 ECTS Departmental Compulsory Course, 50 ECTS Departmental Elective Course and 10 ECTS Non-Departmental Elective Course must be successfully completed, internal and external internships must be successfully completed, and the graduation thesis must be completed and submitted.
