Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine became a member of the European Association of Establishment for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) in 2005. EAEVE's expert committee and student representative made their first visit to our Faculty on 10-14 October 2011. In the visit report submitted after the first evaluation, some deficiencies of our faculty were identified and time was given to complete them. This visit also made an important contribution to our Faculty Administration and Faculty Members for the re-evaluation of our education policy.

Administration of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty Members focused on the deficiencies described in the report, made the necessary arrangements to eliminate the deficiencies identified in the first visit, both in the laboratories and the experimental animals unit and the Research and Practice Hospital, and requested the second visit from EAEVE. EAEVE made this visit on March 22-24, 2015 and stated that the deficiencies identified in the first visit were largely eliminated. Based on the progress reports sent in November 2015 and April 2016, our faculty was certified in the APPROVAL category by ECOVE at the meeting held in Uppsala (Sweden) on May 11, 2016.
