Taking up the foundation with a two-year associate degree program affiliated to the Ege University Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences, our school became a four-year undergraduate program in the 1977-1978 school year.
Later, in accordance with the Decree Law No. 41 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions published in 1982, our school was attached to Dokuz Eylul University with the name Aydin Tourism Management and Hotel Management School.
In accordance with the Article 8 / b of the Law No. 3837 dated 03.07.1992, the name was changed to "Tourism Management and Hotel Management School" and it was attached to the newly established Adnan Menderes University.
Starting from 1996-1997 academic year, the school began to move gradually to Kusadasi and started teaching with 60 students with the Departments of Hospitality Management, Travel Management, Tourism Guidance and Food and Beverage Management.
With the opening of the preparatory class in the 2003-2004 academic year, the duration of education increased to five years.
"Gregory Michael Kiez Applied and Theoretical Courses Building" was constructed in accordance with the protocol signed between Global Investment Holding Inc. and Rectorate of Adnan Menderes University on November 3, 2006 and was opened in 2008-2009 Academic Year.
With the ruling published in the Official Gazette (May 16, 2013) under the Council of Ministers, it was decided to establish the University of Tourism and Hotel Management College as the Faculty of Tourism.
