Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programı, Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü içerisinde yer alan bir lisans programıdır. Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Bakanlar Kurulunun 01.09.1997 tarih, 97/9892 sayılı kararı ile kurulmuş, 2000-2001 akademik yılında Sınıf Öğretmenliği Lisans Programına alınan 104 öğrenciyle eğitim-öğretime başlamıştır. Programda, zorunlu, alan bilgisi, öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi, genel kültür ve uygulama derslerine yer verilmektedir. Ayrıca, öğrenciler seçmeli dersler de almaktadırlar. Dersler kuramsal ve uygulamalı olarak yürütülmektedir. Programdaki kuramsal dersler teknoloji destekli ortamlarda verilmektedir. Uygulamalı dersler ise, Eğitim Fakültesi, İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü ve Uygulama İlköğretim Okulları işbirliği ile Uygulama Öğretim Elemanı ve Uygulama Öğretmeni gözetiminde iki yarıyılda gerçekleştirilmektedir. Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programı, fen bilimleri ve sosyal bilimlere dayalı disiplinlerarası bir çalışma alanıdır. Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programı, 3 profesör, 2 doçent, 2 doktor öğretim üyesi ile hizmet vermektedir.

1997 yılında kurulan ADÜ Eğitim Fakültesi’nin açılan ilk programlarından biri olan Sınıf Öğretmenliği programı, 2000-2001 Eğitim ve Öğretim yılında lisans düzeyinde eğitimine başlamıştır.

Türk Milli Eğitim Sistemindeki mevzuata uygun olarak; ilköğretim kurumlarında görev yapabilecek nitelikte; temel bilgi, beceri ve tutumlara sahip; Atatürkçü, Cumhuriyet ilkelerine bağlı, laik, çağdaş ve demokratik özelliklerle donatılmış öğretmenleri yetiştirmek.

Avrupa Birliği uyum süreci içerisinde ülkemizin ihtiyacı olan Sınıf Öğretmenliği eğitimini yaygınlaştırma ve geliştirme projelerine etkin olarak katılmak ve bilimsel araştırmalara bilgi ve donanımıyla destek vermek.

Sınıf Öğretmenliği programının amacı, öğrencilere mesleki yaşamlarında gerekli olacak temel bilgi, beceri ve yetenekleri kazandırmak, alan deneyimleriyle teorik eğitimi birleştirmek, kişisel ve mesleki yaşamlarında öğrencileri için doğru bir model oluşturabilecek, alanındaki gelişmeleri yakından izleyen, zamanını verimli kullanan ve etkili iletişim kurma becerilerine sahip, bilimsel etik kurallarını benimsemiş, yaşam boyu öğrenmenin bilincinde olan, insana, topluma ve doğaya duyarlı sınıf öğretmenleri yetiştirmektir.

Program bölümdeki dersliklerden ve bilgisayar salonlarından faydalananarak eğitim-öğretimini sürdürmektedir.

Programda öğrenim gören öğrenciler, Fakülteye bağlı bir kütüphane ile üniversite kütüphanesinden yararlanmaktadırlar. Kongre merkezinde ve Eğitim Fakültesi konferans salonunda gerçekleşen tüm faaliyetlere katılma olanağına sahiptirler. Ayrıca öğrenciler sportif faaliyetlere, öğrenci kulüplerine katılmaktadırlar.

The Classroom Teaching Programme serves four year undergradute education.

The principles for acceptance are: a) Horizontal transfers and transfers between Associate Degrees and Bachelor Degrees within Higher Education Institutions, Joint Honours Degrees and Major/ Minor Degrees are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Transfer of Credit Between Institutions. The commitees of the relevant academic units inform the Rectorate of the determined quotas at latest by June for the fall semester and at latest by December for the spring semester. b) Verticle transfers of graduates from Vocational Schools are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Continuance to Bachelor Degrees of Associate Degree Graduates of Vocational Schools and the Open University published in official gazette dated 19/2/2002 with official number 24676. The principles for equivalency and credit transfer are: a) Students placed to an academic unit of the university by The Student Selection and Placement Board who have previously graduated or before completion of education at an Institute of Higher Education, have the right to apply to the relevant office of the Dean/ Director with a petiton stating the request to recieve equivalency along with a list of courses, their credits and course contents within the first two weeks of the academic calender. b) On application of equivalency for courses with similar course content, the decision on equivalency of a course/courses is taken by the relevant commitee on gaining a positive decision from the relevant academic member of staff and department/programme/division. The credit levels of courses for which equivelency is to be given is evaluated in terms of existing courses within the relevant academic unit. c) The mark gained by the student at the Institute of Higher Education in which the course was successfully completed is the mark which is accepted on equivalency. However, in order for the course to be counted towards equivalency, the mark gained must be at least sixty. ç) Marks given with the hundred-point scale in the Institute of Higher Education from which transfer is occurring are accepted without changes. Marks which are awarded with a co-efficient are determined in accordance with Article 25 of this Regulation based on the table of the comparision of the four-point scale and hundred-point scale prepared by the Senate. Marks given with a letter or degree are converted into the hundred-point system according to the approved document from the Institute of Higher Education from which the student has transferred. If this cannot be proved with documentation, the mark is determined as the mid point of the relevant grade according to Article 25 of this regulation d) If the level of credit to be given equivelency to the student’s department or programme exceeds 70% of the total credit required in one semester, the student can be transferred to a higher academic year or semester by the relevant academic committee on the approval of the Head of Department. The semesters/ academic years of students who are transferred to a higher semester for which they have gained equivalency are accepted as a part of their educational period. e)The evaluation of course equivalency is carried out according to clause (b) of this paragraph for students who register with the verticle or horizontal transfer system. f) Students who transfer with horizontal transfer are regarded as exempt from courses for which they have been awarded equivelency and the marks recieved for exempted courses from the Institute of Higher Education from which transfer occurred are shown on the transcript, However, these marks are not counted in the calculation of the academic average. g) For students who transfer with verticle transfer, all marks recieved from the Institute of Higher Education from which transfer occurred are shown on the transcript. However, these marks are not counted in the calculation of the academic average. ğ) In the evaluation of courses for which equivalcency has been applied for equivelency is not given at Bachelor degree level for courses taken at Associate degree level or the Open University and also at Associate degree level for courses previously taken at the Open University, except for courses in Article 5, paragraph 1, clause (ı) of Law numbered 2547, h) In the evaluation of requests for equivalency for students who wish to participate in a summer school programme of a different Institute of Higher Education, students must submit a petition stating the course wished to be taken which has been approved by the relevant Head of Division or Head of Department to the relevant Dean/ Director before the relevant course has begun.

The Bachelor's Degree in Primary Teaching ( first cycle in Primary Teaching) is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum.

To have high school diploma and to be accepted for university by OSYM getting enough score from TM-2 score type determined by OSYM.

The rules and regulations for recognition of formal prior learning are well defined. Transfer can be made among the institutions of which equivalency is recognized by Higher Education Council. Also successful vocational school graduates to continue their educaiton to obtain Bachelor’s degrees if they are successful in the selection and the placement examination (DGS, i.e. vertical transfer examination) are admitted. While a student of another higher education institution, or graduate education in completing the transition to horizontal ÖSYM students who enroll in collegeor in place equivalent to the desired course / courses of loans in case of lack of a credit-hourcourse / courses similar content, while a positive opinion of the relevant departments, the Board of Directors may decide equivalence of the secourses Considered equivalent to the course / courses loans, college loans are evaluated as the existingcourse. Courses equivalent to the student grade of higher education institutions that managed to get the course. However, in order to be equivalent to the course grade must be at least sixty. The adjustment of the upper semester students this semester that you did not go as a result of the orientation / training period of years are counted. Moreover, in the programmes: Farabi and Erasmus, transfer among universities are allowed.

Students must obtain a grade point average of at least 60 out of 100 and successfully pass all courses on the programme (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS).
