Educational activities at the faculty are conducted in accordance with Law No. 2547 on Higher Education and the Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Students are admitted to the faculty through various channels, including the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), transfer programs (YGS or DGS), and international student admissions. Each student is required to renew their course enrollment during the periods specified in the academic calendar. Every student is also assigned an academic advisor throughout their studies. The academic year consists of two semesters: fall and spring. Midterm exams are scheduled by the Faculty Administrative Board, while final and make-up exams are announced at the beginning of the academic year according to the official academic calendar. The language of instruction is Turkish, and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is in place. Issues such as credit transfers, examinations, grading, and assessments are governed by the university’s education and exam regulations. Grades are generally assigned on a 100-point scale. Success is determined based on a weighted average, with the minimum passing grades defined as follows: • Undergraduate programs: 50 • Master’s programs: 70 • Doctoral programs: 75. The regulations clearly outline how to convert grades from the 100-point scale to other grading systems. All students who successfully complete an undergraduate program at our faculty are awarded a bachelor’s degree diploma.
