Department of Political Science and Public Administration; aims to provide the students with the information required by contemporary political and administrative science and to establish the infrastructure they will need to work in their fields after they graduate.
In this context, it is aimed that our students, with the quality of education they have achieved, become qualified individuals who are respectful to national and universal values, concerned with the problems of the region and the country and who are oriented to solve them.
Program Educational Aims(PEA):
PEA 1: To work in political parties, national and international organizations and non-governmental organizations within the framework of interdisciplinary understanding of social sciences, with the ability to adapt to political, social and economic changes and social responsibility awareness.
PEA 2: To work as a public servant or manager in public administrations within the scope of general government consisting of public administrations within the scope of central government, public institutions and local governments, or to pursue an academic career in these fields.
PEA 3: To work as an expert, inspector, auditor, manager in private sector organizations such as banking, finance, insurance and independent audit firms.
PEA 4: To works in local governments, central government units and other public administrations, as well as relevant national and international organizations, private sector and non-governmental organizations that produce policies in major problem areas related to natural and artificial environments.
PEA 5: As an individual who has basic legal knowledge, adopts universal values such as justice, equality and human rights and has the notion of law; to work in professional fields such as district governorship, administrative judge, inspector, auditor, auditor, specialist and assistant specialist, which are in the intersection of Political Science and Public Administration and Law disciplines.
