Our faculty has department laboratories equipped with equipment for undergraduate and graduate education needs.
In addition to education and training practices in our laboratories, industry-oriented analyzes are also performed. The Engineering Faculty Computer Laboratory, which is open to the use of Computer Engineering students, provides students with basic algorithm and programming training.
The active laboratories of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department are the Basic Circuit Laboratory, the Electronics Laboratory, the Logic Design Laboratory, the Microprocessors Laboratory and the Electrical Machines and Power Electronics Laboratory, and the installation works of the Communication Laboratory, Microwave and Antenna Laboratory and Control Laboratories are continuing. By using all these laboratories, the knowledge and skills that a competent electrical and electronics engineer should have are provided at a sufficient level.
Food Engineering Department Laboratories consist of four laboratories, which are Food Chemistry and Technology, Food Microbiology, Food Processing, and Instrumental Food Analysis Laboratories, where many basic analyzes can be performed in the field of food. These laboratories contain devices that allow many instrumental, chemical, physical and microbiological analyzes to be performed.
The Civil Engineering Department Laboratory contains devices that allow the analysis of the Structural Engineering, Building Materials, Hydraulics, Soil Mechanics and Transportation Engineering Departments.
There are two laboratories in the Mechanical Engineering Department. In the Machinery Laboratory, there are heat transfer and pressure loss test setups, Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) and tensile test setup. Mechatronics laboratory has a 3D printer and basic electronic equipment for prototyping.
In addition to the existing laboratories of our faculty, the construction of the Engineering Faculty Laboratories building, which has an area of ??approximately 1000 square meters, has been completed, and the new laboratory building will be fully opened as soon as the existing laboratories are moved, new equipment is introduced and the deficiencies are corrected.
