Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Communication was established with the Decree of the Council of Ministers dated April 4, 2011 and numbered 2011/1595 published in the Official Gazette dated April 15, 2011 and numbered 27906.
There are 4 departments in our faculty:
- Department of Radio, Television and Cinema
- Department of Public Relations and Advertising
- Department of Journalism
- Department of Visual Communication Design
The Department of Radio, Television and Cinema enrolled its first students in the Preparatory Class Undergraduate Program in the 2013-2014 academic year. In this process, the structure is continuing rapidly. After increasing the number of trained academic staff, budget, physical space and technical equipment deficiencies were quickly resolved, the Department of Public Relations and Advertising started its education with 62 students as of 2015-2016 academic year.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, the studies required for journalism and for the visual communication design departments in the 2019-2020 academic year continue rapidly.
