The Simulation Laboratory which was opened with participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Cavit Bircan on 9th of April, 2018 was introduced to last year students of Nursing Faculty and Health Sciences Faculty.
A brief information was given to the students about the simulation training; devices, models and physical structure in the simulation laboratory. Features of the high-validated simulation model, its use in education and its contribution to skill training were introduced. The students' questions about the simulation were answered and a sample simulation was performed with the high-validity simulator model. Students performed exercises such as breathing voice, pulse taking, blood pressure measurement, breast examination, vaginal examination and intestinal sound listening on the model.
The simulation laboratory was of great interest to the students.
