The 2018 Nursing Week Events organized by the Faculty of Nursing started on 15 May 2018 with a variety of scientific and social events.
The students participated into Nursing Week activities had a pleasant time playing group games like "sack racing, rope drawing, egg transportation".
The official opening of the Nursing Week Events organized by the Nursing Faculty Faculty Development Promotion Commission and the University Research and Practice Hospital Nursing Services Directorate took place at the Atatürk Congress Center Miletos Hall on 16 May 2018 with participations of our Rector Prof. Dr. Cavit Bircan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Törün Özer, Dean of Faculty of Nursing Prof. Dr. Didem Evci Kiraz, Director of Aydin Health School Prof. Dr. Hilmiye Aksu, Director of Söke Health School Assoc. Dr. Rahşan Çevik Akyıl, Director of Nursing Services Gülsüm Pekçetin.
After the opening Assistant Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şakiroğlu from Psychology Department of Science and Literature Faculty conducted a conference on "Smart Phone Addiction".
Nursing Week activities continued on May 17, 2018 with the presentation of the 3rd grade student Zeynep Gökoğlu's participation in the National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE) experience and the different nursing experiences there. After Gökoğlu's presentation; Assoc. Dr. Elif Gürsoy (Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty Member of Nursing Department, Founder President of Leadership Association on Nursing (HELİD) conveyed the process of setting up the Leadership Division and the implications of the concept of leadership.
On the third and last day of the Nursing Week Activities, a great music performance was realized with the solo and choir performances of the 'Nursing Faculty Music Choir' prepared with the support of our faculty and students. After enjoying music, Zeybek Game Show (Folklor), which was exhibited by Faculty students, was also appreciated.
During the three days, an exhibition about "Memories on Nursing Professions" organized by Nursing Faculty with participation of the University's Application and Research Hospital nurses was presented at the Congress Center,
The last conference of Nursing Week 'Project and Innovation in Nursing' was given by Ayşegül Alioğulları on 18 May 2018 who is nurse at Zeynep Kamil Gynecology and Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital and also "Secretary General" of "Innovative Nursing Association". Alioğulları mentioned that everyone can improve the project by turning the idea of R03;R03;nursing in the field of innovation has gained awareness about the issue.
