Dean’s Project Irish IT Sligo Found Worth Supporting By CUA.
Dean of ADU Nursing Faculty and Professor of Radiology. Dr. Yelda Özsunar's research project on "Artificial intelligence and deep learning in CT and MR imaging of sinonasal tumors", which was prepared jointly by researchers from Sligo University in Ireland, Canolly Hospital and USA, California Roche Tissue Diagnostic, was found worthy of support by Ireland IT Sligo CUA. Candidates who want to do a doctorate in artificial intelligence and radiological image processing, and whose education is described in English, will be able to apply to the program, whose education expenses in Ireland will be covered and an annual scholarship support of 10 000 Euros will be given. Features to be sought in candidates: To know English very well and to have the following trainings.
Minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent GPA in Computer Science, Computing & Information Technology, Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or in a related discipline in Engineering will be required. Candidates with a masters degree in any of the above listed areas is desirable. Previous research experience in Image Processing or Machine Learning will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
